I live in Malta.
Here, since the Maltese football teams never ever qualifies for any Football event, Maltese people are divided between Italian supporters and English supporters (history shows why).
With the Euro 2012 Football Championships, Maltese people were lucky to get England as far as the quarter finals playing against Italy. Very dynamic and interesting game, especially among Maltese supporters.
As soon as Italy won, all Maltese Italian supporters, got in their cars, driving around till morning, singing, shouting, and of course using their car's horns. Obviously nobody could sleep.
Last night, Germany played against Italy in the semi-final of Euro 2012. Playing a good game Italy won, again. Now, you can imagine what followed after that. Same story of noise till morning. Again, nobody could rest.
I am hoping that in the final Spain - Italy, Spain will win. Why? Am i a Spanish supporter? No, i am not, my country didn't qualify either for Euro 2012. But i pray and hope, so that i don't have to have another white night.
